Membership in any post or squadron of the American Legion, the Legion Auxiliary, or the Sons of the American Legion is a prerequisite for membership in the American Legion Riders. 

Please complete the following information regarding the primary motorcycle you will be using for rides with the ALR.

By clicking the 'SUBMIT' button below, the applicant agrees to the following:

1. "I certify that the motorcycle listed above is legally registered in accordance with state, city, and local licensing and registration requirements. I further certify that, if I am the operator of the motorcycle, I will carry property and liability insurance for myself, my passengers, and my motorcycle which meets at least the minimum state, city, and local insurance requirements. I also certify that, as the operator of the motorcycle, I will carry a valid driver's license with either a cycle endorsement or a valid motorcycle temporary instruction permit in accordance with state, city, and local laws. If my status changes, I will request, complete, and submit a new Member Information Form."

2.  "I understand and agree that all American Legion Riders members and their guests participate voluntarily, at their own risk and expense in all American Legion Riders activities.  I release and agree to hold harmless the American Legion Riders Chapter 202, its officers, the American Legion Post 202, its officers, the American Legion Riders Department of California, its officers, and the American Legion, and its officers for any injury or loss to my person or property which may result from my participation in any and all American Legion Riders activities.  I understand that this means that I agree not to sue the American Legion Riders Chapter 202 or Post 202, Department of California American Legion Riders, or the American Legion for any injury resulting to myself or my property in connection with any American Legion Riders activities."
3.  "While participating in the activities of the American Legion Riders Chapter 202, I agree to conduct myself in a manner consistent with the Chapter 202 By-Laws, rules and regulations of the American Legion Riders Department of California and any lawful and reasonable directions given to me by any of the officers of the American Legion Riders Chapter 202, in the performance of their official duties."
